Using the site
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no account on this site, so nothing to create, nothing to remember, nothing to delete. You open a skill and get started.
Is it really free?
Yes, entirely and with nothing in return. No subscription, no paid version, no advertising, no donation requested to access the content. That is the very purpose of ODERSA, a nonprofit association under French law (loi 1901).
Does it work on a phone?
The site is designed for phones first: the simulated screen displays full screen, the areas you tap are at least the size of a thumb, and the text starts at 18 pixels. On a computer, the simulated screen shows inside a device frame.
Do I need a good connection?
No. The pages are lightweight and work on a slow network. Once a page has been viewed, it stays available even without a connection.
Can I make the text bigger?
Yes. The "Settings" button, on the side of the screen, enlarges the text by two steps, adds space between lines, boosts contrast, underlines links, and reads the page aloud using your device's own voice.
Your data
What do you collect?
Nothing. This site does not collect, store, or transmit any data. No cookies, no measurement tool in these pages, no social media button, no font loaded from elsewhere.
How can I check that myself?
Press the F12 key on your keyboard to open your browser's developer tools, go to the "Network" tab, then reload the page. You won't see a single connection to any site other than this one.
And my progress, the skills I've checked off?
They live in your browser's memory, on your device, and never leave it. The settings panel clears them with one button, whenever you decide to.
What if I write to you?
We read your message and we reply. Your address goes into no database: there isn't one.
The content
Are the screens real apps?
No, never. Every screen is designed by us, with generic names: "your email," "your bank's website." No brand is represented, no message is actually sent, no site actually opens. The phone numbers used in exercises come from the range reserved for fiction, and the addresses use the domain reserved for examples.
Who writes the skills?
The association's volunteer team. The real-world process is checked online before writing, the text is reviewed by someone other than its author, and the whole set is checked again every six months.
I found a mistake.
Write to us, the "Report an error" link is at the bottom of every page. A reported error is fixed in the next content wave, and the "What's new" page keeps a record of it.
Can I reuse the content in my workshop?
Yes. Everything is under a CC BY 4.0 license: project it, print it, distribute it, translate it, adapt it, including in a professional setting, crediting ODERSA. The License page gives the exact wording to copy.
Does the site exist in other languages?
The site exists in seven languages: French, English, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, and Chinese. The language selector at the top of the page lets you switch at any time.
The association
Who is behind this site?
ODERSA, a nonprofit association under French law (loi 1901), registered with the prefecture on 13 May 2026, whose purpose is to make education and the sharing of knowledge accessible to everyone, for free. The site is one of its means of action.
How can I support it?
By telling people who need it about the site, by using it in a workshop, or by writing to the association about a partnership. Accepted supporters are named publicly, with their agreement.
Do you run in-person sessions?
The association carries out free digital-skills initiatives and occasional in-person sessions. Write to the association's address to discuss it.
